Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Sigiriya

Arrive in Colombo, the vibrant capital city of Sri Lanka. You will be met by a Dasa Holidays representative and transferred to Sigiriya. En route, you will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a home for retired and orphaned elephants. Extra Topping: Coconut water en-route to Sigiriya. Overnight stay in Sigiriya. Meals: Dinner

Day 2: Sigiriya, Dambulla & Matale – Transfer to Kandy

In the morning, proceed to Sigiriya to visit the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, known as Lion Rock, and see the beautiful frescoes of the Heavenly Maidens. Afterward, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, with its ancient caves and a towering Buddha statue. Then, travel to Kandy via Matale to visit a famous Spice Garden. Upon arrival in Kandy in the evening, enjoy a vibrant Kandy Cultural Show. Notes: Intense walking and step climbing are involved during the Sigiriya Rock Fortress visit. Overnight stay in Kandy. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Kandy & Peradeniya

Today, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Afterward, explore Kandy Lake, the Kandy Town Bazaar, and a Gems Museum. Then, proceed to visit the beautiful Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. In the evening, you will return to Kandy. Extra Topping: Tea/Coffee/Ice Cream at Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Ramayana Trail)

Today, proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit sites from the Ramayana Trail, including the Anjaneyar temple with its 18-foot Hanuman statue and the Sita Amman Temple, believed to be where Sita was held captive. Across the stream, you will see a rock with a depression said to be Hanuman’s footprints. You will also visit a Tea Factory and the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, known as Ashok Vatika. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya to Yala National Park

After breakfast, travel to Yala National Park. En route, you will view the majestic Ravana Waterfall. Yala is known for having the world's highest concentration of leopards and is home to 44 varieties of mammals and 215 bird species. Overnight stay in Yala. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Yala Safari – Transfer to Bentota

In the morning, enjoy a thrilling safari ride through Yala National Park for a close encounter with nature and wildlife. Afterward, proceed to Bentota. En route, visit Galle, where you will see the Dutch Fort, the Lighthouse, and the Galle International Cricket Stadium. Overnight stay in Bentota. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7: Bentota | Boat Ride & Turtle Hatchery – Transfer to Colombo

Today, visit Bentota, a coastal town famous for its pristine beaches. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride and visit a Turtle Hatchery. Later, proceed to Colombo. Extra Topping: Tea/Coffee/Coconut water en-route to Colombo. Overnight stay in Colombo. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8: Colombo City Tour & Departure

In the morning, enjoy a city orientation tour of Colombo. You will see the 100-year-old clock tower, colonial buildings, Hindu and Buddhist temples, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Hall, and the President's Palace. The rest of the day is free for shopping. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home, concluding your unforgettable tour with Dasa Holidays. Meals: Breakfast

• Transportation & Transfers:

  • Cost of any individual airport, seaport, or railway station transfers for joining and leaving guests.

  • Any private transfers taken to move from one place to another instead of the group coach.

• Charges & Taxes:

  • Any increase in the airfare, rail fare, cruise charges, or fuel surcharges.

  • Any increase in taxes levied by the respective government or statutory bodies.

  • Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in land arrangements which may come in to effect prior to departure.

  • Service or government taxes as applicable from time to time.

• Personal Expenses:

  • Porterage, laundry, wines & alcoholic beverages, mineral water (unless specified), and telephone charges.

  • Shopping, all items of a personal nature, and food and drinks not forming part of the group menus.

  • Extra photographs clicked other than group photographs, extra water bottle charges, and any medicines required.

• Unforeseen Circumstances:

  • Any extra expenses incurred for changing the route due to unforeseen circumstances, including force majeure instances, natural calamities, political disturbances, or strikes.

  • Extra cost incurred due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any other individual unforeseen incident.

  • Cost of insurance for any extra stay pre/post tour.

• Optional & Upgraded Items:

  • Cost of extension of the validity or deviation from the route of the tour.

  • Any additional "extra topping" if taken.

  • The cost of any activity or sightseeing done twice.

  • Fur coats/jackets to visit snow points or any special attire required for a particular sightseeing place.

  • Any upgradation in the room category or airline class, including premium seat charges.

By booking this tour, you (the "Guest") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, as well as the terms outlined in the full itinerary, inclusions, and exclusions documents.

1. Package Price & Inclusions

• Price: The tour price includes all items explicitly listed in the 'What’s Included' section, such as accommodation on a twin-sharing basis, meals as specified, and entrance fees for sightseeing.

• Taxes & Surcharges: The price is based on current airfare, taxes, and fuel surcharges. Dasa Holidays reserves the right to increase the tour price to account for any increases in these costs, or any changes in the rate of exchange, prior to departure.

2. Flights, Visas & Documentation

• Flights: The tour price includes return economy class airfare and any internal flights mentioned in the itinerary, with a baggage allowance of 1 piece per internal flight.

• Visa: The cost of the visa is included as per the itinerary (excluding USA Tours). However, visa approval is at the sole discretion of the embassy, and Dasa Holidays is not responsible for any rejections.

• Passports: It is the guest's responsibility to hold a valid passport for the duration of the tour.

3. Transfers & Services

• Transfers: Coach transfers are provided from the first day's group meeting point to the last day's drop-off point. Individual transfers to and from these points are not included.

• Tour Manager: The services of a Dasa Holidays Tour Manager are provided for the entire duration of the tour, from the first day to the last.

4. Tour Exclusions & Personal Responsibility

• Personal Expenses: Guests are responsible for all personal expenses, including but not limited to laundry, shopping, telephone charges, alcoholic beverages, and mineral water (unless specified).

• Optional Activities: Any add-on sightseeing, activities, or "extra toppings" not specifically mentioned in the itinerary are excluded and must be paid for by the guest.

• Upgrades: Any upgrades in room category or airline class, including premium seat charges, are not included in the tour price.

5. Liability & Force Majeure

• Exclusions: Dasa Holidays is not liable for any extra costs incurred due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Force Majeure instances, natural calamities, political disturbances, or strikes.

  • Route changes due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any other individual unforeseen incidence.

• Third-Party Services: Dasa Holidays acts only as an agent for third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, transport companies). We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property that may occur during the tour.

• Travel Insurance: The tour includes basic travel insurance. However, Dasa Holidays strongly recommends that guests acquire their own comprehensive insurance to cover additional risks such as baggage loss, medical expenses, and tour cancellation.

6. General Terms

• Porterage: Porterage for one suitcase at hotels is only included for senior citizen special tours.

• Tips: Driver and guide tips are included as per the itinerary.
